Around 7:30pm on Wednesday 8th December 2021 PC Tambie, PC Deena & PC Sanchez whilst on moblie patrol in the Mon Repos police district, based on information they had received proceeded to the northbound lane of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway in the vicinity of the Marabella overpass . Whilst there they intercepted motor vehicle PBJ 6684 a Silver Nissan B14 driven by Kevin Phillip Oliver Street, Morvant.
The officers search the vehicle and found in the trunk a black garbage bag wrapped with brown masking tape which contained three shot guns. The driver was subsequently arrested.
